Paperwork: How Long Should I Keep This?
First off, go paperless as much as possible. Sign up for online billing, banking and automatic payment. It will save time, cut down on physical papers clutter and it’s better for the environment.
Invest in a scanner such as Scan Snap or RoadWarrior 3 and save documents in Evernote or Dropbox. If you feel overwhelmed by your piles of backlog archives just start with your new papers and throw out the old files as the years pass.
